Corporate Social Responsibility at Level 3
With the Support to Grow, Comes the Responsibility to Give
We are fortunate to be part of communities around the world that support Level 3 and our growth. We believe being part of those communities brings with it the responsibility to support them as well. As a result, Level 3 maintains a Corporate Social Responsibility program called Level 3 Cares which focuses on education, the natural environment and on serving the underprivileged.
Giving Back to the Communities Where We Live and Work

Level 3 Volunteers
Level 3 Volunteers is our way of supporting and encouraging employees who choose to actively volunteer and give back to their communities. It offers our employees at least eight hours of paid volunteer time to dedicate to whatever cause is important to them. Volunteering benefits our communities, inspires employees and brings our business closer to the people we serve.
Level 3 Environmental Sustainability
Level 3 Environmental Sustainability represents the company’s commitment to protect and improve the environment. We identify local environmental efforts and through our community relationships work towards a common environmental goal. Through this program we also strive to improve the environmental impact of our business operations in each of our local communities.
Level 3 Gives
The Level 3 Gives program provides funding to assist community initiatives that are important to our employees and builds upon our volunteer program. We believe that our time, energy and expertise are valuable to our communities, but we also understand that non-profits need funds to support the good work they do and to make the most of our employee-volunteers’ time. Level 3 supports nonprofit organizations that specifically improve and enhance our natural environment, provide educational or job/career development opportunities or seek to serve the needs of the underprivileged people within our communities. All grant requests must be requested by an employee, and the requesting employee must be personally involved with the organization that is the potential recipient of the grant.
Level 3 is a member of the Corporate Community Investment Network (CCIN).
