OVERON
OVERON is the teleport- and switching center operator as well as the content management provider of reference in Spain to the delivering video and audio signals through satellite, IP and mobile networks. OVERON counts on qualified staff, with an extensive experience in the audiovisual market and with a wide knowledge of the audiovisual value chain.
OVERON has the widest experience preparing, planning and operating the coverage of the main sports and news special events. An experimented group dedicated to big events gives a contrasted quality in an international level.
OVERON is pioneer in Europe in applying IP technology to the video world, in making the first transmissions in high definition (HD) and in remote management of satellite platforms and video/radio stations.
At present, practically the totally of more than 300 permanent TV channels and the hundreds of occasional services done in our teleport are transported in certain parts of the transmission chain trough IP technology.
The transparency of the network gives us the possibility of broadcasting an event with terrestrial mobile links, sometimes integrated in vehicles. We can as well inject a video from the transmitter centre through permanent circuits when the event takes place where we have optic fibres connected to the terrestrial network.
OVERON administers and operates at present a national and international IP video network covering various European countries as well as circuits covering North and South America. Thanks to national IP network, we provide a permanent connexion with all the first and second division football stadiums in order to transmit SD/HD video and data signals.
We as well operate a fleet of DSNG's in vehicles and Flyaways always available to move all over the world. All of them are registered with the main satellite providers, making us able to transmit to any satellite throughout the world.
At the same time we have a teleport with more than 50 transmission and reception satellite dishes which covers practically the totally of the satellites visible from Madrid.
