Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVLT) today announced that it is expanding its operations in the Philadelphia area. This initiative is designed to provide mid-market enterprises with locally focused customer service and greater access to Level 3's voice, Internet and data services.

Level 3's local sales and customer support team also will provide the consultative expertise to help business customers navigate the changing communications landscape.
