Level 3 Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVLT) will augment the nationwide voice and data communications solutions it provides to RemoteLink Inc., a national provider of conferencing, interactive voice response (IVR) and data entry services.

Under the terms of the agreement, Level 3 – which already was providing switched voice and colocation services to RemoteLink – will deliver nationwide gigabit Ethernet and VoIP services, the latter comprising the following:

• Toll-free IP (which gives service providers a scalable, feature-rich and flexible service that terminates on either a switched or IP infrastructure);
• Voice Termination (which provides worldwide termination of long-distance voice traffic, including VoIP);
• Local Inbound Service (which provides a cost-efficient, one-way connection that originates on the traditional public-switched telephone network but requires a handoff to an IP network).
